Samuel is in P.1 (first grade). His favorite subject is mathematics. When he grows up he would like to be a mechanic. For fun he enjoys playing football. Samuel has two sisters and two brothers that attend school with him. Because he has four other siblings at primary age level his mother can no longer afford to pay for him. Samuel came to school as a paying student but then his father left him and his family to marry another woman. He has not seen his father since then. 

Samuel has an unknown physical problem with his left leg that gives him a constant limp. He has to seek medical care for treatment against the pain.
