Richard is in P.6 (sixth grade). His favorite subject is mathematics. Someday he would like to become a doctor because he enjoys his studies and he wants to help the sick. When Richard is not in school he enjoys playing soccer with his friends. Richard is from the Musoga tribe in Eastern Uganda, he speaks Luganda and English. Richard has one brother. His grandmother brought him to the project because both of Richard's parents abandoned him, she is a farmer and gardener but she cannot make enough to provide for him.
